Whitewater Rescue Technician Advanced (WRT-A)

Objectives

To train and educate professional guides in whitewater rescue techniques with an emphasis on techniques that use little equipment and that allow for the management of complex situations in specific environments (class IV and V) or on terrain with difficult access (vertical access or extraction).

  • 4 days
  • 24 hours of training
  • Alternating theoretical and practical
    and practical courses
  • Night exercise

Prerequisite

  • Hold the Rescue3 WRT-Pro certification.
  • Be 18 years of age.
  • Be able to swim.
