IRF Rafting guide - trip leader - safety kayak certifications

For whom?

For professional whitewater guides (rafting guides, safety kayakers, kayakers) wishing to acquire the certifications of the International Rafting Federation (IRF) in order to validate internationally recognised diplomas and thus be able to work abroad.

Objectives

To validate the skills of Rafting Guide, Trip Leader and Safety Kayak, from class II to class IV. This validation of skills is internationally recognised and allows the holders to apply for positions as River Guides in the different countries recognising the IRF throughout the world.

Duration

  • Between 2 and 4 days,
  • Theoretical and practical certification.

Prerequisite

  • Be 18 years old.
  • Be able to swim.
  • Have professional experience in the supervision and practice of white water sports (rafting, canoeing, hydrospeed, canoraft, stand-up paddle).
  •  Hold a valid first aid certificate.
