Rescue3 WRT-Pro - IRF Certifications IRF

For whom?

For rafting guides and whitewater professionals already working (RAFT guides, safety kayakers, kayakers) but also for experienced kayakers (without a diploma) who wish to recycle or deepen their knowledge of whitewater safety and navigation and obtain internationally recognised diplomas allowing them to work abroad.

Objectives

On the one hand, to acquire the Rescue3 WRT-Pro (Whitewater Rescue Technician-Professional) training level and on the other hand, to validate the skills of Rafting Guide, Trip Leader and Safety Kayak according to the criteria of the IRF (International Rafting Federation). These 2 certifications (Rescue3 and IRF) are internationally recognised and allow the holders to apply as River Guides in different countries around the world.

Duration

  • 7 days
  • including 4 days Rescue3 WRT-Pro
  • including 3 days IRF training and certification
  • Alternating theoretical and practical courses

Prerequisite

  • Be 18 years old.
  • Be able to swim.
  • Have professional experience in the supervision and practice of white water sports (rafting, canoeing, hydrospeed, canoraft, stand-up paddle).
  • Master the specific knots for white water rescue (learning sheet provided at registration).
  • Hold a valid first aid certificate.
