Whitewater Rescue Technician Professional (WRT-Pro)

For whom?

For professional white water sports guides (RAFTING guides, kayak safety, kayakers, CANYONING guides), wishing to be trained in modern white water safety and rescue techniques and/or to update their knowledge.

Objectives

To train professional guides in whitewater rescue techniques, taking into account the constraints of their professional activity (rapid intervention, little equipment available, small team) in order to optimise the safety of their clients during the commercial services they lead.

Duration

  • 4 days
  • 24 hours of training
  • Alternating theoretical and practical
    and practical courses
  • Night exercise

Prerequisite

  • Be 18 years old.
  • Be able to swim.
  • Be a professional white water sports guide (rafting, canoeing, hydrospeed, canoraft, stand-up paddle).
  • Master the knots specific to whitewater rescue (learning sheet provided at registration).
