Whitewater Rescue Technician Recreational (WRT-Rec)

For whom?

For water sports enthusiasts (kayak, canoe, stand-up paddle, white water swimming, hydrospeed) who wish to learn modern white water safety techniques in order to better understand the environment in which they are evolving and thus be able to practice in greater safety.

Objectives

To train regular or occasional practitioners of white water sports in the specific characteristics of the environment in which they evolve and in the techniques of intervention in case of problems in order to guarantee a better personal and collective safety during the practice of their favourite activities.

Duration

  • 2 days
  • 12 hours of training
  • Alternating theoretical and practical
    and practical courses

Prerequisite

  • Be 18 years old.
  • Be able to swim.
  • Be a practitioner of a white water sport (kayak, canoe, stand-up paddle, hydrospeed).
  • Master the knots specific to whitewater rescue (learning sheet provided at registration).
